Template:Container category

This is a "parent category", a category of categories. It should not contain any pages, with the possible exception of one or two subpages directly concerned with the subject of the category.

Usage

Tag parent categories with {{Container category}} to inform editors that they should remain relatively empty. The categories will be added to the tracking category Category:Parent categories.

Template:Tl2 - For requesting that included pages be re-categorised to the category's sub-categories. Template:Tl2 - Another category notice template which is also used for maintenance.
